Teaser: 

Recollecting childhood memories of her younger self, Fatemeh made an irresponsible decision that caused her to question her entire perception of reality. But can her memories be trusted ? 

Synopsis

Sitting on a dining room table, Fatemeh recollects her memories of the event that happened to her in 2007. She is surrounded by psychology books, a remote control and a cup of tea. She is heads to the fridge where there are numerous Polaroids of childhood pictures, one in particular takes her back to that day. Fatemeh aged 7 and her older Brother Taregh aged 10, stand posing in front of a statue beside London Bridge. Taregh steals Fatemeh's red hat as he runs off, she chases him as their mother unbothered walks behind briskly . The family reach the Fitness centre and kids walk facing a full adult olympic pool, both children are in awe but as Taregh expression turns into excitement Fatemeh’s turns into fear. Taregh inaudibly whispers something to Fatemeh before smirking and diving into the deep end. Unable to swim but eager to prove a point Fatemeh jumps in after him. She witnesses and hears events many children are able to describe let alone experience. We are left to question how much of her recollection is true and if so what does is say about the nature of reality. 

Character Profile 

Fatemeh ages 7 is a shy but determined kid, she is always eager to please and craves attention from those around her. Fatemeh has recently moved from Iran, she has a strong arabic accent with limited to no English language skills. She has 2 long black braids and tanned skin and wears reading glasses due to her long sitedness. She is owns a comfortable matching tracksuit that she often wears, her clothes are very warm and modest which is not only due to change in weather but are representative of her muslim and Arab religious and cultural background. Fatemeh's limited language skills means her social circle revolves mostly around her family at that age, especially her older brother Taregh. Her relationship with her sibling is loving but competitive, she seeks to him as an example of an adult rather than an age mate.
