PRODUCTION
WEEK 6

During the production stage we began to have a clearer idea of our teammates roles and began to delegate the tasks more diligently. Myself and Yasin were working on key-framing, Raymond alongside Yasin on 3d background , Levi on inbetweening and Noah on colour and background pencil texturing. we held our first workshop organised by myself and executed by Yasin where we practised imitating Yasins style and character designs. All team members were involved in this workshop which went on for 2 hours. The aim of the workshop was to copy the character designs through observation then overlaying the Drawings on to see where the proportions need changes. the changes were then overseen by Yasin. Below is an emacple of the excersize we did.

WEEK 7
Continuing on from the previous week, I worked on some keyframe animation for the walk cycle as seen below, there were the first drafts. but were overall successful for their purpose. Yasin also sent over a still frame for texturing using the still frames created in the animatic. Each layer was put on a separate frame to help with compositing in post production as you can see below. several changes will be made including the background as well as adding a shadow to the back of the head of the character, As we re-arranged the timeline we agreed this will be left to the post production stage.

WEEK 8
During this week i created a run cycle using reference given to me by Yasin. which i uploaded on youtube to view frame by frame. I used more frames than necessary, I believe reducing the frame rate would be beneficial for creating a speeding up movement , in this case It would simply require removing some frames whilst also adjusting some of the arm movements on some of the frames.
WEEK 9
With 2 more weeks to go on my schedule, and 1 major keyframe and full animation to do (to ease the load on levi) , I created the coughing scene which will be in-betweened by Raymond. The coughing will be recorded, which will match to the animation as the original sound has a voice too deep for he characters age. and the fire animation will be done by Yasin for this particular scene.

Dog scene (keyframes inbetween and colouring) by me
WEEK 10
Resuming form the previous week the animation work was the same , below i created the shadow using after effects whilst the flies were animated in toon boom . The compositing below was a workshop that I schedule so Yasin can teach us post production in his style , it lasted around 3 hours and was quite beneficially despite not being a part of the postproduction stage i felt like i had learnt alot .
Shadow scene (keyframes inbetween and colouring) by me

WEEK 11
The aimation below would need the background changed and moving across whilst also keep the style similar to Yasins which will be done in cleanup but it was great to see what looks close to animation test of what the final product would look close to as a moving image. the walk cycle would need to be in-betweened for the animation f the ending sequence by levi and the evaporation will be animated by yasin
WEEK 12
during this week i focused heavily on fire animation as well as putting the animation we have so far on a timeline on premier pro as seen below before the crit date . I Read "elemntal magic" as well as looking at a ton of youtube videos and videos on skillshare to study how fire moves. my first attempt was good although the fire flattens out after a while, so i think i would have more riges and a better reference for my second attempt.
Crit animation
WEEK 13
In the final weeks, whilst finishing up my Grad assist I gave the fire animation yet another try, with 3 new attempts with next references found on YouTube , below are the attempts . I decided to continue on the animation front intake for the handin . I continued to work on helping the team with work and scheduling . I created the schedule seen below.
